Alana and Alyssa
Alana De La Garza, an amazing actress, has left a mark in the film industry. Her parents are both Irish and Mexican American. The actress was born in Ohio's Columbus on December 26 the 26th of December, 1976. In the next few years, she moved to Texas where she pursued an athletic therapy profession within the University of Texas. De La Garza did not remain in Texas for long and quickly made the move into Orlando Florida, where she was able to take on various roles as an actor as well as independent films and commercials. Even the small roles did not stop her from discovering she enjoyed acting. The year 2001 saw her move to New York where her first role was on All My Children's daytime soap opera in the role of Rosa Santos. She had minor roles on JAG The Las Vegas as well as Two and a Half Men in the early 2000s. The role she landed was in 2004 on the brief film The Mountain. She played Maria Serrano and De La Garza was fortunate enough to star alongside some top TV actors including Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Anson Mount and Mitch Pileggi. In 2006 she was also cast as A.D.A. in Law & Order. Connie Rubirosa. She appeared for 85 episodes. The character she played on her Law & Order: LA spinoff was short lived. De La Garza was nominated for several awards, including Best Supporting Actress on TV by Imagen Foundation Awards as well as a number of ALMA Award nominations. In 2008, De La Garza received the Impact Award at National Hispanic Media Coalition's Outstanding Performance Award in a Dramatic Television Series. In the next few days, De La Garza was cast for CSI Miami in a recurring role. She was Marisol Deko and was also the spouse to David Caruso's character Horatio. On NBC's dark and dramatic drama Do No Harm she played her character in the role of the character Dr. Lena Solis. The series was cancelled after just two episodes. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. Her younger brother Cory was born 10 years older than her. Her family was the strict, religious home of her family. Milano started her acting professional career when she was just seven years old. Her babysitter took her along to an acting audition. She was one of the four girls chosen from more than 1,000 aspirants. Milano was featured in commercials for TV as well as off Broadway programs, such as the American first musical adaptation to Jane Eyre.
